I had a wonderful Christmas holidays. On Tuesday, we went and had lunch at my family's house (I posted a picture of the incredible vegan, gluten-free feast). Wednesday was spent at home, quietly with the man, and we watched "The Nightmare Before Christmas", and exchanged home-made presents at midnight (see the card, and the composition).

On Thursday we went up the Blue Mountains (pictures here), to spend Christmas Day with Peter's extended family. We had some lovely discussions about books and reading, and even got to go for a walk through the bush, down to a lagoon.

Saturday was our Christmas Day, due to family returning from Melbourne. We ate lunch together, and feeling full, we retired to the loungeroom to open all the presents. Our system is that everyone pulls out a present, and gives it to the person whom it is addressed to, rather than having a present-opening chaos ensue.

Merry Christmas!
