Peter woke up feeling a little under the weather, so much of today was spent in bed. Fortunately, there leftover pizza to have for breakfast, a variety of games and platforms to indulge in, and good books. There is also great company! The lovely girl below joined us. She was on the floor until we both left the room, only to find a minute later she'd taken prime real estate. We worked around her, and snuggled into her.

Peter is currently reading my book, "I Am, Therefore I Think", which he is loving. I am still getting through "The Believing Brain", with four more chapters to go, including the epilogue, as well as Wolitzer's "The Position", which is also drawing to a close.

The sicky asked me to connect the Wii up, so I did. While I'm not a fan of the Wii, some of the old console games made available are worth the price, like F Zero X, or Megaman. There were also rounds of Spell Quest, not to mention loads of Tiny Wings. I am thinking of making a post dedicated specifically to games you can tackle in bed on a device like the iPad.

It started thundering and pouring around 4pm here, so I am glad I took the dog for an extra morning walk. I have only a few unfinished assessments, but a mountain of chores (there is already a mountain of ironing alone!). Regardless of that, I think I'll post a yummy recipe later, and for now get back to "The Position".
