









My sister took charge of cooking for our mother, so I decided to take charge for my mother-in-law (who has two sons). We made rosemary roasted potatoes, mushroom gravy, pomegranate molasses baked tofu, stuffed mushrooms, white wine pumpkin and cannelini bean salad, broccoli and slivered almond salad, millet with sun-dried tomato pesto, mustard glazed carrots, baked squash and zucchini, and a Quorn platter. For dessert, we quickly whipped up some caramelised bananas, featured here with So Good Vanilla Soy Ice-Cream, Weis Strawberry Sorbet, and a few crushed peanuts. It was a pretty lovely day, and an excellent feast.
